Join us Sunday, September 25th, 11am-12noon(ish) at the Commons Poetry Yurt for singing, sounding, connection and conversation about our theme of the month: Wholeness andthe Nature of Sound.

 

Together we'll explore indigenous perspectives on the roles that sound and music play in honouring the oneness of everything (Wholeness); how, according to many spiritual traditions, sound brought the universe into being; how the inherent mathematical structure within all sounds correlates with forms found in nature (hence the aloe vera plant!); why sound is so healing; how sound both creates and dissolves form, and more. That's a lot of sound ground to cover!
