More about Leah...

Over the years I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of working with with several pioneers of vocal improvisation and vocal sound healing, including Chloé Goodchild, David Hatfield, Jill Purce, Rhiannon, and Karina Schelde. My work is also informed by the teachings of David Bohm, Carl Jung, Krishnamurti, Mary Oliver, Pauline Oliveros, Alan Watts, and others.

I write, produce, and perform my own music and in 2019 released Facets, my first album of original songs. I have also composed and recorded two volumes of chants (called Diamond Chants)—musical settings of ecstatic poetry by Rumi, Hafiz, Hildegard of Bingen, Mirabai and others—joyfully collaborating with the Song Keepers Women’s Choir (Gabriola) and the Fabulous Fufonics (First Unitarian Fellowship of Nanaimo).
